Arabescato Carrara

Marble with veins from the Apennines

Arabescato is a type of marble that is extracted in the Apennines north of Carrara, Italy. Like other marbles, arabescato is always veined.

The surface is white with colored veins that vary from beige, red, brown, green, gray to black. The fracture surface is sugar-granular.
